Sheryl -

Sheryl was born in Philadelphia, & has been in the Philadelphia area her whole life.

Coming from a family that valued touch, Sheryl comes by massage naturally. She watched her father massage her mother’s feet every evening, & would sometimes get those foot massages herself. She remembers giving her mother neck massages when she was a child.

Sheryl first received a degree in Math, & worked an office job for a dozen years, before going back to school for massage, & receiving her certification over 25 years ago.

Sheryl has extensive experience in a variety of therapuetic modalities including; deep tissue, positional release, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, geriatric massage, hospice massage, & cupping.

She has worked in various settings, including working with psychotherapists, hospice, outdoor folk concerts, & office settings.

She also ran a volunteer massage program at Camp Dreamcatcher, a camp for children infected/affected by HIV/AIDS, assuring every camper & counselor received massage as part of the camp experience.

Sheryl is a natural empath, & has spent time studying various forms of energy work. She often reaches out to people when she senses they need a call, & hears “I was just about to call you!”

In her free time, Sheryl enjoys aqua classes at the Y, hanging out with friends, board & card games, NYT puzzles, tarot reading, & visiting her two grown children.
